Face mapping and playability factor have revealed that your so-called game improvement clubs might be doing more harm than good when matched up with your normal strike pattern. Many times, players come to me after being fit and playing worse than they were before they were fit because they were steered towards a company’s most forgiving club, which, in reality, has a low playability factor and a face mapping result that totally punishes that particular player’s swing dynamics. Is your fitter using face mapping information along with playability factor to get you into the most effective set for your personal swing dynamics? Side note: you might be shocked to find out that many blade models have a higher playability factor than some game improvement models, and their face mapping data rewards the player’s normal face strike pattern.
